Our ultrasonic products utilise the newest technology to provide a solution to your algae problems. This technology means that for the first time ever, there is a real and practical solution to algae control without the use of chemicals. All of our Ultrasonic units come with a 2 year guarantee for your added peace of mind. We are currently updating our range of Ultrasonic Units with new models and as such some models below may no longer be available, we will be happy to advise you on any model and where required will inform you of the new replacements.
Due to their simplicity, algae cells are very basic and therefore most cells are weak. Controlled ultrasonic waves with short periodic interruptions, target the vacuole (centre) of the algae cell, rupturing the vacuole and causing the algae cell to collapse in on itself. Research has also shown that the ultrasonic waves kill other harmful fungi and restrict bacterium such as leigonella from multiplying. These revolutionary units kill almost all types of algae including the dreaded Blanketweed (spirogyra), the potentially deadly Blue-Green algaes (cyanophyta) and the fast growing Cladophora, in fact the only algaes that Ultrasonics may not kill are the motile green alga’s and we are sure we will have the unit to do this in the very near future. Our exclusive range of Algae Control Units have found great demand with both companies and individuals, the ease of use, minimal maintenance and quick results have ensured these products are a firm favourite with water owners.

The larger NT 5 and SS 500 are very popular with larger fisheries and estates due to their extensive coverage and great value. These can be self installed although we recommend that we install them on your behalf, maintenance is minimal, just clean the transducer lens every 4 weeks with a damp cloth.
To order please click here Solar Powered Units As many large water bodies have no mains supply or the length of cable required would be excessive or dangerous, the SS range can be utilised as solar powered units. The SS 500-360 is particularly popular with reservoir operators as due to the huge areas of water requiring coverage, a mains power is rarely an option. These units have also found favour with large sailing waters where long cables could be a hazard. These units can only be installed by Water Habitats Ltd These units can be either shore based or anchored where required and can be run as either daylight operating or 24 hour operating, making these units versatile and cost effective.
