15ft Clinker Style Boat
A beautifully hand built 15ft clinker type boat made from high quality fibreglass, these boats are heavy duty and are ideal for leisure or working platforms. These boats are used and can be seen at Rutland Water, Grafham Water, Pitsford Reservoir, Ardleigh Reservoir, Llandegfedd Reservoir and Draycote Water.
The boat is constructed with a high quality marine grade lay-up with a bonded marine plywood floor and hardwood gunwales. Both the stainless steel bow eye and two stern eyes can be used for mooring or lifting, whilst the tough non-slip, draining floor makes it a safe boat in almost all conditions.

15ft Defender
New for 2006, the Defender offers the client the choice of Rubber D section gunwales instead of the traditional wooden gunwales. This option has come about from customers who want to reduce their winter maintenance even further. Hardwood is bonded on the inside of the boat, to form the strength, and the D section rubber is then bolted through. The hollow section has an aluminium strip down the middle to prevent the bolt heads from pulling through. These boats can be rolled over or lifted in the same way without risk of damage to the rubber. If, in an extreme case, the rubber is damaged, it is very easy to repair. Simply cut out the damaged section, and bolt on the new piece.

15ft Deluxe
Based on the standard 15' hull, the boat has a custom layout inside depending on the clients own specification. Standard features include high quality upholstered seats with tough vinyl covers, high gloss varnish on the woodwork, custom colour inside and out, and polished stainless steel fittings. These boats are mainly built for private customers who enjoy using their own boat, or simply for people who benefit from having the river at the bottom of their garden.

16ft Clinker Style Boat
The new Coulam 16' Mk 3 is very much a hybrid of the original boat. We have reverted back to the single skin construction, fitted it out with marine plywood, and then the whole interior is sheathed. The main benefits for the commercial user are stronger construction, no foam buoyancy to get water-logged, and much easier and quicker repairs to damaged hulls during the season. It still benefits from high quality GRP marine grade materials, along with stainless steel fittings, and hardwood thwarts and gunwales. This gives the boat great strength with ease of maintenance. These are still the first choice for the larger waters.

These boats are not a stock item and are hand built to order, because of this there can be delays when demand is high, Boats are usually delivered in 6 weeks but in busy periods can take up to 12 weeks.
Trailers
Single Axle Boat Trailer
A lightweight easy to use boat trailer, designed specifically for our boats (although can be used for most boats) that makes boat ownership easy.
Fully welded and galvanised, they come complete with super jumbo rubber rollers, carpeted bunks, two speed winch and strap, jockey wheel, spare wheel and lighting board. Up rated axle can take 750kg gross weight (most other trailers use the inferior 500kg axles). These trailers are un-braked. The long draw-bar with the wheels set further back ensures dead-straight towing, and easy manoeuvrings when reversing.
A double axle trailer to the same specifications as the one above, these trailers are heavy duty and especially useful where off-road driving is required.
